Why a twinning ? A twinning with a city of another country can create for the inhabitants of our municipality the occasions of exchanges, meetings in the associative, cultural and economic domains. For more explanations, to see the Sister Committee page =?.
What's the use of the Committee?

The objective of the Sister Committee of Noisy-le-Roi ( CJNR's ) is to obtain a wide participation in the actions of twinning by the inhabitants of Noisy le Roi and coupled cities. The Committee takes the initiative of actions, manages it coordination and as the case may be, conception, execution, communication, management of costs and analysis of results. For it, the Committee rely on commissions, being each responsible for its projects and make sure of the membership of the municipality on its initiatives.
Why Albion (Michigan), USA ? The previous history of this twinning are at inhabitant's of Noisy le Roi and of Albion having lived for a long time in their mutual cities. Twinning with Albion is a first stage, and the Committee investigates opportunities of twinning with the other cities, in Europe rather.
Why Godella, Spain ? On proposition of the CJNR, Noisy's le Roi municipality gave his agreement to develop a twinning with an European city. A survey realized among Noiséens showed a preference for a city of Spain, consolidated with the majority choice of Spanish as 2-nd living language in the J.B. school of Quintinie. The working team formed to look for a twinning with a Spanish city established a Conditions of contract defining the characteristics of the popular Spanish city. Three cities were contacted of which one gave us a favorable answer. It is Godella.
A delegation of the Municipality and the CJNR went in May 2004, to Godella and the criteria of selection being fulfilled it is this city which was chosen to couple with Noisy le Roi.
How does it cost ? On its "cultural" budget, the city of Noisy le Roi contributes to the operational expenses of the Committee. Traveling costs are partially taken care by the participants. (An agreement signed between the City hall and the CJNR handles all these aspects) The Committee looks also for private sponsors.
