A large French delegation comprising mayors of Bailly and Noisy le Roi accompagned by assistants,Mrs Sylvie Faucheux, President of the University of Versailles Saint Quentin (UVSQ), Mr.Courson, President of the Rotary Club of Saint Nom la Bretèche, Mrs Annick Theis-Viemont, President of CJNRB, visited Albion during the Festival of the Forks.
The purpose of this trip was to formalize the twinning of Bailly with Albion. Thus on the 17th of september a ceremony fulfilled this agreement and the mayors of Albion and Bailly pledged to support exchanges between their two communities in the continuity of what had previously been done by the municipality of Noisy le Roi.
The trip was full of appointments and meetings that have cleared up many possibilities for the future.
The delegation participated in the parade of the city Festival of The Forks, attended a football game with the Albion College team and go to the gala dinner which was honored by the presence of Consul General of France and charmed by the melodies sung by Francoise and Frederic Pichon.
The links between our cities are deepening and contribute to increase the discovery of American culture.
